TMS Treatment #24
“Thanks for all your support. The staff were always there for me with their kind words and caring heart. It helped to get me through a really dark and scary period in my life. I thank God for Dr. Korie and the rest of the staff. During my treatments I was always listened to, it really helped. I didn’t feel so all alone and you gave me hope that my life would be better and to just hang in there. I know we will have a lasting friendship and I love you all.
Thank you again.”

“I don’t believe this, or any testimonial, will ever do this treatment justice. It has simply been a life-changing experience for me. For years, a war raged tirelessly in my head. The various traumas; sexual, mental, emotional, from my youth all fought for pole position to be the most debilitating demon I would have to face day to day. That was all until I experienced the biggest trauma of them all, the loss of a loved one. The vivid memory of watching my younger brother slip away as I tried to perform CPR will be one that never fades. I thought that was going to be the straw that broke the camel's back, and so I turned to anything that helped dull that pain...

TMS 1 month Post-Treatment
Like many others, I tried to self medicate the “pains” away. While that worked as a Band-Aid, I found that I was always just delaying, and compounding the pain that I would eventually feel. I've had minor successes with exercising, meditation, therapy, but once the activity was over, the sleeping giants would wake soon after and I would be back to fighting them. This went on for years, with the negativity now making its way into other areas of my life. Work suffered because I was too distracted trying to quiet my mind. Family suffered because I was too worried that my pain would be passed down, so I focused more on shielding my children, rather than teaching them...

With a new spotlight being shined on mental health, I began searching for other methods of help, and was fortunate enough to come across The Soul Klinic. I was able to meet with Dr. Korie, who provided me with the first sense of relief that this is a battle that can be won. She developed a medication plan for me, and once that was dialed in, she introduced me to TMS, and the promising results that came along with it. Soon after, I was contacted by Nicole who walked me through the insurance approval process. She gave me some fantastic insight into the results that she has seen first hand, and above all she was (and is) one of the most helpful, compassionate, and hardworking people I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting...

Once insurance approved it, I was in the office for my first of the 36-sessions. Dr. Korie, Nicole, and Chidube (who is also one of the most amazing humans I’ve gotten to come in contact with) all made a fantastic and much appreciated effort in making me feel comfortable. After the first session, each and every session from there was something I looked forward to. The sense of positivity and love that the office pairs so incredibly well with the TMS treatment. The best way I could describe it, is that it feels like the TMS was a jackhammer on a mission to break apart the callouses that have developed from my past traumas. It’s now about 2 months after completing my 36-sessions, and the daily war that was raging in my head, is now over...

The byproduct of adversity is the creation of a mentally strong individual. If, and only if, you clean off the mess adversity makes. The desire to live a better life, TMS, The Soul Klinic, Dr. Korie, and the staff all helped clean that mess up for me, and I will be forever grateful for that.

“Yes, my mental health has improved since coming to the Soul Klinic. Also, I see that the more that I follow Dr. Korie's recommendations, the more improvement I tend to see in myself over time. My experience with Soul Klinic is better than with many previous healthcare facilities that I have visited in the past. What I value most of all is that they make time during your appointment so that you can be heard. You have time to communicate. All the staff that I have met at Soul Klinic are professional and compassionate, yet still able to help you toward meeting your goals (accountability)...

Dr. Korie is a very special doctor. She has truly helped me get my life back under control from a mental health viewpoint. It matters to me that she listens to me and provides real, practical solutions and then follows up to see how it's going. Also, if there is an emergency, she will get help fast. Another thing that I appreciate is that for my daily care, she correctly expects me to do my part. The more that I follow Dr. Korie's recommendations, the more improvement I tend to see in myself over time. I can tell that Dr. Korie really does care about me. She cares if I am getting better or worse and asks what more she can do to help. So I know she cares for all her patients the same way.
I highly recommend Dr. Korie.”

“Soul Klinic has given me the time and space to share how I feel about my experiences, the effects of different medications, and how I want to move forward regarding my treatment. Previous healthcare facilities have not prioritized providing that time and space. All staff I've interacted with have been friendly and willing to listen. Dr. Korie is wonderful. She is patient and curious, non-judgmental, and accommodating.”
