Deanna Lopez is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT, Lic. No. 133022) who earned her degree from Pepperdine University’s Graduate School of Education and Psychology, specializing in Marriage and Family Therapy. She has experience supporting children, adolescents, and adults in both community mental health and private practice settings.
Deanna tailors her approach to each client’s unique needs, drawing on evidence-based practices to promote meaningful progress. She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and has a strong background in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
She provides a supportive, calming environment that fosters emotional healing and helps clients navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and major life transitions. With compassion and collaboration, Deanna works alongside clients to ensure that therapy aligns with their personal goals.
Outside of her work, Deanna enjoys sunbathing by Lake Tahoe and attending live music events.

Ever since residency, Dr. Korie has sought to open a practice that reaches beyond the typical standard of care. She envisioned a practice where personalized attention, whole body examination, and genuine compassion was provided to every single patient. With this goal in mind, Dr. Korie established Soul Klinic, where she is currently the Medical Director and Attending Psychiatrist.
Dr. Korie is also an Attending and Consulting Psychiatrist at Henry Mayo Hospital in Newhall, CA. In her effort to address the stigma associated with mental health conditions, she relentlessly uses every opportunity to provide education in the hospital and community through seminars, lectures, and presentations.
Dr. Korie’s love for medical research is profound. During her residency training, she served as the Chief of Research, Academics and Medical Student Education where she revolutionized the intensity of academic research at Nassau University Medical Center (NUMC), East Meadow New York, leaving an indelible footprint with projects, abstracts, conference presentations and journal publications.
Dr. Korie continues to engage in research in her capacity as Chief Research Officer of Global Medical Research Institute (GMRI). Her research interests include ADHD, Substance Use Disorders, Nutritional Psychiatry, Equine Assisted Psychotherapy, and Psychosocial Impacts of COVID-19 Pandemic.
